Dermal Fillers are a gel made of a naturally occurring substance which is also found in your skin. Our clinical aesthetic team use it to put back volume in the skin and to shape certain areas of the face such as the lips and deep facial lines.
You may experience slight swelling, redness, pain and firmness to the treated areas. These symptoms are usually mild to moderate and improve after approximately 7 days or less. You can use an ice pack on the area treated if you have any swelling and take Panadol for pain. Also avoid taking Vitamin E, anti-inflammatory drugs, St John’s Wort, aspirin or Ibuprofen/Nurofen as they may possibly cause bleeding and bruising. Do not take those before, during and after your treatment.
If symptoms persist or you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our clinic on 07 3003 4000.
Dermal Fillers are not suitable if:
- you have any serious health conditions (such as severe infectious diseases, vascular or lymphatic complications, etc.);
- you have any active STIs;
- you have had previous sensitivity to any fillers; or
- you have a history of other penile surgery.
During your consultation your suitability and desired outcomes will be discussed. It is important that you have realistic expectations of what can be achieved using dermal fillers.
Q: Can you advise roughly how big can I go with penis enlargement treatment?
A: Using 10ml of filler will increase size by about 2 teaspoons of filler. This will add mainly to the girth and only marginally to the length.
Q: What is the approximate cost?
A: The cost for 10 ml of filler would be approximately $5500.
Q: How long does the penis enlargement treatment last?
A: Approximately 2 years and in some cases, longer.
Q: Can this treatment cause any long-term negatives like deformities?
A: No, this works as it does for any Dermal Filler treatment.
Q: Can it be performed on an uncircumcised penis and will the foreskin still function afterwards?
A: Absolutely. Dermal filler injections into the ‘head’ or glans of the penis in an uncircumcised penis will have a more prominent cosmetic enhancement, especially when it is injected around the corona of the glans or ‘edge’.
Q: Are there any before and after images available?
A: Yes, you can view some before and after images above on this page or in the Gallery.
The dermal filler works just like it does on the face and other parts of the body. Once injected just below the surface of the skin it is naturally absorbed into the penile tissue over the next week. During this time the product can be gently massaged to even out any lumps and ensure even coverage.
It normally takes a couple of weeks for the dermal filler to stabilise and obtain the best results. It can last up to 24 months, but you may require small top-up treatments to maintain your desired results.
Problems experienced after dermal fillers are usually minor and uncommon but if these do occur the effects are treatable.
Normally there are minimal after effects of the treatment, but in some cases you may have:
- some bruising and tenderness
- some swelling, this should settle down after a couple of days
- pain or difficulty passing urine, if this occurs contact us on 07 3003 4000 as soon as possible
- initial irregularities of dispersion of the filler, if this occurs gently massage it towards the base or the head of the penis, but please don’t overdo this.
You may drive immediately after your treatment but you should abstain from sexual relations or manual stimulation for at least 24 hours.
A follow up consultation is recommended 4 weeks after the Injectable Penis Enhancement treatment. If more Dermal Filler is required to ensure even coverage, this can be carried out during your follow-up consultation at an additional cost.
